My name is Linda Karner. I have been a missionary in Japan since 1989, and have been developing Bible times for use with our English outreach program for over 10 years. The Bible times are meant for a 20 minute format (we set aside 30 minutes for Bible time, but some of that is used up in getting coffee and tea, etc.) The Bible times also seek to present one clear truth. Sadly, I think I have often failed in both goals, but, as we say over here, “if something is worth doing it is worth doing poorly.” Most of the Bible times can easily be expanded to a one hour format.
